Making It: The EARTHGANG Interview

By

Pigeons & Planes and In The Know's new series Making It goes behind the scenes and gets personal with six of music’s most exciting rising artists across genres like rap, R&B, and indie. Get familiar with tomorrow's stars today, and discover what drives them to create and push boundaries. For our latest episode, we spent some time with EARTHGANG on a farm in Atlanta.

EARTHGANG have been making music together for over a decade, and it shows. The Atlanta duo released their first EP in 2010 and came up alongside fellow Spillage Village members like 6LACK and J.I.D. They've consistently delivered some of the most eclectic music coming out of ATL, but 2019 was a breakthrough year with concerts around the world and their biggest album yet, Mirrorland. We met up with EARTHGANG on a farm in Atlanta to find out what makes them so unique and why they're not as weird as everyone thinks.

Watch the video above to learn more and catch up on the other episodes of Making It, featuring Kenny Mason, Omar Apollo, UMI, Jelani Aryeh, and Baby Rose on the Pigeons & Planes YouTube here.
